Slim Fast? Should be Slim Slow.

So, sitting through a mind-numbing meeting today, I noticed a lot of interesting things. One in particular made me laugh, and think, and laugh again.

So what made me laugh? This did. The one 300 lb+ lady in the room, has her Slim Fast shake sitting right next to her morning doughnuts (2), having it on display so the world can know that, "Hey, Im trying." By the way, she also breaks out another one after eating 2 sandwhiches and an extra side of Doritos for lunch. My as well hook up an IV of the stuff.

Of course, we have all heard the comedy skits of overly fat people ordering huge meals and topping it with a diet coke. Yeah, hilarious. Anyway...

Dieting, why is it that overly obese people go out of their way to show people they are dieting.

Seriously? Really? While you are waddling to the checkout line, dont think we dont notice the 7 gallons of Edys, 4 frozen deep dish pizzas, 2 pounds of bacon and all kinds of fried this, that and the other. BUT, what do you display most prominently? We see the crap choice of health food that has been selected. We see the ONE lean cuisine (a freezer burn death awaits it anyway), a case of Diet Coke, Reduced Fat Oreos (when you eat an entire box in one sitting does it really matter?) and of course the Baked Lays. Of course, you must comment (loud enough for others to hear) about how those Baked Lays are so much better for you than the original style. I wont even comment on the jugs "Lite Mayonaise" or "Light Ranch."

And, just because you order a Super Sized, Double Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese Value Meal and follow it up with a Slim Fast shake, does NOT mean that you are dieting.

Just embrace your chubness, you arent fooling anyone.
